ABOUT THE ARTIST

Arch Budzar is a multimedia artist and poet raised in Appalachia.

Budzar specializes in exploring the intersection of poetry and visual art. Their artwork is inspired by mysticism and the occult.

Budzar’s art has been shared by public figures such as Willow Smith, the creators of The Midnight Gospel, and singer-songwriter SZA. Budzar is one of the founding minds that brought Kent State University’s Wick Juniors Writing Club to life. As well as one of the first poets to be featured in the award-winning Traveling Stanzas project. They hold several honorary recognitions for their writing. Including that of The Library of Congress’s Letters to Literature, and Scholastic’s Silver Key Award for poetry.
